Nothing Phone (1) Finally Gets Reviewed by DXOMARK

Carl Pei has recently established his own smartphone company, named Nothing, after leaving OnePlus. The company's first product was the Nothing Ear 1, followed by the highly popular Nothing Phone 1 among young people, which is known for its distinctive design and LED light on the back. The Nothing Phone 1 has recently received the Android 13 beta update.

There is much buzz online lately about the upcoming release of the successor to the Nothing Phone 1, the Nothing Phone 2. It is said that this phone will initially be launched in the US before being made available in other markets. Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone 1 has been tested by DxOMark, and the results are underwhelming.

DxOMark's evaluation of the Nothing Phone 1 was a disappointment, as it only received 114 points, putting it at 62nd place overall and 6th place in its price range. Its main competitor, the Pixel 6a, even outperformed it by 8 points in the same price range. However, DxOMark was impressed by the photography and video recording capabilities of the Nothing Phone 1 in good lighting, which showed top-notch stabilization and expansion.

This suggests that the photography aspect is not the strongest feature of the Nothing Phone 1, but these issues could potentially be resolved through software updates.
